Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in a world premiere, it’s the British brand’ss answer to the McLaren P1 GTR and Ferrari FXX K.<\/p>\n

Just like its rivals, it uses a hybrid powertrain. In this case, it combines a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine, sourced from Cosworth, with electric power. The whole assembly has yet to be detailed, but it’s said to produce in excess of 1,100 horsepower, combined. <\/p>\n

Tipping the scale at 1,000kg (2,205lbs), the Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro exceeds the 1:1 power-to-weight ratio. Still, despite being officially presented, the car manufacturer remains tight-lipped when it comes to its exact specs. Nevertheless, expect a top speed of 362km\/h (225mph) and lateral acceleration abilities in excess of 3G. <\/p>\n

In addition to the mechanical changes, the Valkyrie AMR Pro has aerodynamic updates as well, sporting a wider bodywork and lots of carbon fiber. The exhaust system is lighter, the suspension wishbones are made from carbon fiber and inside there are moulded race seats.<\/p>\n

The infotainment screens, heater\/de-mister blower, and others were removed to make sure that the track-only hypercar achieves its weight target, and there’s also a polycarbonate windscreen with heater elements and side windows made from the same material. <\/p>\n

As it was already announced, Aston Martin will only make 25 units of the Valkyrie AMR Pro. Deliveries should commence in 2020, and all examples are already spoken for. <\/p>\n
