Available only for the Tekna and Tekna+ grades, and powered by the 130PS (128hp) 1.6-liter diesel engine with automatic transmission, it starts from \u00a331,275 ($43,277).<\/p>\n

The self-driving technology can be engaged via the special button on the right spoke of the steering wheel and assists the driver by controlling the steering, throttle and brakes. It’s been created for high-speed cruising, but works on highways and low-speed traffic as well.<\/p>\n

Those that would rather have the manual versions of the Qashqai with the same dCi 130 engine can now order the Driver Assist Pack. It’s available for \u00a3495 ($685) and adds Intelligent Lane Intervention, Intelligent Cruise Control, and Lane Keep Assist. In fact, the automaker says that it’s capable of most ProPilot features, except bringing the crossover to a complete stop and resuming driving in traffic.<\/p>\n

Marking the launch of the ProPilot across Britain is a special model labeled the Qashqai Pilot One Edition. It’s based upon the range-topping Tekna+ grade and has a starting price of \u00a333,380 ($46,190).<\/p>\n

Paying the premium gets buyers the Storm White pearlescent body color, or optional metallic and premium metallic shades, the Chrome Exterior Styling Pack, ‘Pilot One Edition’ door entry guards and interior badging, Nappa Leather and Xtronic sports pedals.<\/p>\n

Nissan says that, compared to the regular Tekna+ trim levels, the new Pilot One Edition delivers over \u00a31,500 ($2,075) worth of added value with the additional equipment.<\/p>\n
